omplies with all Australian standards Smart Bus Systems Smart Bus Signs act in much the same way as PID's however, rather than displaying fixed schedule information to passengers, the Smart Bus System communicates real-time information both visually and audibly.
The aim of the system is to detect the presence of buses within a designated route and process the information via the front end computer to determine how closely a bus is running to its schedule. This information is then transmitted to Axent smart Bus Signs relaying information such as the time of day, bus route and destination, and the most accurate time in minutes to the predicted arrival of the next bus.
